I provide therapy for adults and teens who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, and issues relating to gender and sexuality. Everyone deserves to be seen and heard as their authentic selves, for this is where I believe the bulk of healing happens. I view the therapeutic relationship as an important and necessary foundation of therapy, for this creates an environment conducive to taking ‘emotional risks’ and being met with compassion.

My work in the helping field began as a Mobile Addictions Outreach Worker where I served homeless youth in connecting them to resources and advocating for their needs in a variety of settings. During my undergraduate degree, I was able to work as an intake and group facilitator at the center for sexual assault and response committee. In the past three years, I have primarily worked as a neurofeedback technician and counsellor serving youth and adults. Presently, I am focusing on clinical work as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with teenagers and adults suffering from a variety of issues. I am also currently working towards attaining my Registered Provisional Psychologist status.

Based on my clients’ unique needs, I draw from a variation of techniques and approaches including Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I view mental health as existing on a spectrum- not within a checkbox. Therefore, I am flexible and collaborative in my work with clients.

It can be very intimidating to take the first step in reaching out for support- I remember so myself. This is why I strive to be transparent, warm, and approachable in conjunction to my clinical skills. If you feel I might be a good fit for you, I kindly welcome you to reach out.

As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, my areas of speciality include:
Teen and Adult Therapy | Sexual Abuse | Trauma and PTSD | Gender and Sexuality

In my personal life I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and walking my dog, Finn! Nature and animals are very grounding for me. I also have a passion for writing, art, and music.
